Costa Rica doesn't have the gameshow The Price is Right. That means that we also don't have the benefit of Bob Barker's daily message to control the pet population by getting our pets spayed or neutered.
And it's small. Like the others, this one just showed up at our place. It sucks to be an animal in Berlín, so we decided to take him/her/it in. Name pending, although I like "Steel Blue" or "Blue Steel," whichever one Zoolander called his "look."
Our full-time cat Cucho gave it his usual warm welcome that he gives to all newcomers: "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?"
More to come.

Cute kitty. Arrin and I have just ventured into dog ownership. They are not as easy as cats. Also, that first picture makes it look like you lost a thumb.
For the record, it's "Blue Steel" ;-) Adorable!

Yay for kitties! Especially that one! What a looker.
Does Cucho have a collar now?
I hope you can have your thumb reattached.

SO CUTE!!! BRING ONE BACK FOR ME!
I would think cats and other furry animals would get hot in costa rica
As for my thumb: It's machete country. Sometimes you keep a thumb, and sometimes you lose it. That's the nature of the game.
As for the cat, yep, he/she is cute. We finally named it "Chubby" after a couple of weeks of debate.
And yes, the cats would probably get hot, but not in Berlín. I've never actually been hot in Berlín, unless I was working outside. I think it's just the coasts that are unsufferably hot and humid.
Oh yeah, and Cucho does have a "collar" now, but it's just a piece of ribbon with velcro. Angela wrote his name and our number with bubble paint.
