Here's today's Picture of the Day (wow, it's been a while since I said that phrase!):
These strange-looking things are actually candied figs which have been stuffed with a sort of sugary condensed milk mixture. This is the kind of food you can buy from roadside stands in Costa Rica. We bought these the other day while returning from Zarcero with my family.Thanks for checking out the pictures, and have a great day!
